About Me
I am currently looking for some holiday babysitting work to pour my energy into over the summer. I am a friendly, kind and enthusiastic young woman. Naturally very creative and artsy so I love to put this into activities and play with the children I look after. In the past I have run lots of creative workshops with kids such as willow lantern making, mask making, nature drawing. Also growing up in Wales and then the beautiful New Forest I really value all things outdoorsy. I am also very responsible and good at keeping on top of things. I also really enjoy cooking healthy meals
My Experience
-I have done evening/weekend baby sitting work during my time at school living in Ringwood. For which I am happy to provide references. Responsibilities included helping with school work, cooking and making sure the children had everything they could need.
-I was a Peer Mentor during my time at secondary, meeting weekly to give students struggling with the transition someone to confide in. I also also had a liaison role with visiting foreign students helping the adjustment to a different place.
-Hosted Spanish students aged 12-14 for successive years (3 weeks to a month at a time). This involved giving them a welcoming place to stay, providing engaging activities, day trips, someone to talk to and cooking meals. It also means I am good with fussy eaters :)
-Provided weekly Spanish and English tutoring for GCSE students at my time at Bishop Wordsworth Grammar
-It is also worth mentioning I am considered a 'young carer' for my disabled mother, so I am very much adept at providing caring responsibilities and taking on a great level of responsibility and dealing with situations in a calm manner.
-Ran lots of creative workshops with children. The Big Draw. Lantern Making. Mask making. Costume making. Nature drawing.

Education- Currently undertaking MA in Social Anthropology and Politics at the University of Edinburgh
