My Summary

My Experience

My experience has grown developed over the years with several training programmes, and regular mandatory training, and having my own children and what better way to learn than with your own!! Over the years I have done babysitting and looked after my many neices and nephews and some of these are home schooled in which I have had experience in supporting the parents with over the years. Since my daughters started school I have volunteered at their school and have supported the teachers in KS2 and KS3 with guidance reading, small group learning and support when school outings occur. This in fact gave me the nudge to change my career and progress into childcare.
I attend several webinars and small group training to enhance my knowledge regularly and work alongside many qualified childminders too.

The last 7 years has seen me attend Forest school which I've gained a wealth of knowledge, skill and awareness of the outdoors and deliver this within my setting weekly.

I attend local swimming centres to encourage and offer parents the chance for their children to swim and be confident in the water.

Alongside our outdoor ethos, we use a local allotment that we have established to promote outdoor learning, development, important life skills and care for the animals we have.

My Qualifications

I have attended the Local childminder training, mandatory paediatric first aid, safeguarding, and many webinars and group training sessions. Also i'm very proud to have attained a Good first Ofsted Inspection in September 2013 and in January 2016

My Availability

Full and part time, before and after school
EYFS ..
Monday-Friday 7-5.30

Funding for 3&4 year olds accepted
Childcare vouchers accepted also.
