About Me
A home from home for your little ones to learn through play.
We have a child led approach to learning and have many play opportunities for the children - from baking and crafts to story time and messy play activities.
There is a secure garden which we will use rain or shine. There is a mud kitchen and outdoor easel to spark the children’s imaginations and strengthen their physical development.
We love the outdoors and believe you can learn a lot from exploring natural materials. Creating artwork from colourful autumn leaves and planting our own little sunflowers in spring.
We love to get out and about and visit the local farm, parks and rhyme time at the library.
Fresh, home-cooked meals will be provided and the children often encouraged to help with preparation.
My Experience
Rachel, owner of Sunflowers, has worked in childcare for over 11 years. She started in a private nursery and then moved on to being a sole charge nanny. Rachel is a mother herself. Her eldest son attends Baddow Hall School and youngest is 1.5 years. There is a friendly family cat to fuss over too.

We are open term-time Tuesday to Fridays 7:30am - 5:30pm.
