Hello! My name is Jen, Children like to call me Jen Jen, and I’m the proud owner of Robin’s Play Patch, a caring and engaging childminding service based in Newport Pagnell. I’m a devoted mum to two amazing children, a 15-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter, which gives me a real understanding of what families need when it comes to quality childcare. I work alongside my mother in law Ana, who brings Joy and happiness to Robin’s Play Patch.
We bring over 15 years of hands-on experience in early years settings, and I’m fully Level 3 qualified in childcare. I am also a qualified SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), with a passion for inclusive practice and supporting children of all abilities. I hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate, Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification, and a full clean UK driving licence, offering peace of mind and flexibility for busy families.
At Robin’s Play Patch, we follow the EYFS curriculum and provide a nurturing, play-based environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Through a mix of fun activities, outdoor play, and structured routines, we help children develop confidence, social skills, and a love for learning. We offer Portuguese sessions, Yoga, Makaton and Nursery and Rhymes time during our daily routine.
Working closely with families is at the heart of what we do, ensuring each child’s unique needs and identity are respected and celebrated every step of the way. Message to book your visit with us and we are looking forward to showing you around our home from home setting.

My Availability
8am- 6pm. Monday - Friday
Open 45 weeks a year- offer stretched funding or Term-Time, tax free childcare. £7 an hr non funded.
Extended opening time: 1 week in Easter break and 3 weeks in summer break. 1 week on Chistmas.

As a first time parent I was skeptical on what setting would be the best for my daughter! When Robins Play Patch approached me all of my worried were taken into consideration and I was left at ease! My daughter has learnt so so much every time she comes home she comes back with a new skill or has learnt something new! The setting is so welcoming and interactive! On top of the incredible care they take! The activities the children do are encouraging and super interactive! The passion for what they do shows in their attention to detail and practice. Jen and Anna are lovely people and respond to every single question or queerer so quickly. They truly care about each child and it shows. Thank you so so much for making this transition so easy and fun for us. I will always be grateful to have found them

We are incredibly grateful for our child minder! She takes the time to profile each child, tailoring activities that cater to their individual interests and preferences. Both of our children absolutely love attending and always come home excited about what they've done. Her flexibility and understanding create a nurturing environment, and she is always quick to respond to each child's needs. We couldn't ask for a more supportive and attentive caregiver
