My Summary
About Me
I am a Mum of two gorgeous girls aged 14 and 21. I have been working in childcare for 25 years in a variety of settings and have experience with a variety of children of different ages, backgrounds and abilities.
I believe in a home from home environment can be important for young children to thrive. When emotionally regulated and feeling safe, a child is ready to learn and develop and meet their full potential. I provide a stimulating environment, where children's interests are used to enhance their play. I have a large and secure garden to which the children have regular access to in all weathers. I am also lucky to live near three wooded areas and nature reserves. This gives us a great opportunity to explore in nature and observe the seasonal changes. We go out regularly to experience a wide range of groups, activities and places. I have ran an Intergenerational Toddler Group called Grandfriends in a local Care Home for over 10 years. this has provided lots of memorable moments for all that attend and friendships are formed between the residents and children. This is the highlight of mine and the childrens week.

My Experience
After gaining my childcare qualification I worked in a school as a SEN Teaching Assistant and after my first daughter I moved to a Children's Centre working as a Early Years Practitioner with children from birth to four years . This is when i completed my NVQ level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development. When my daughter started school I moved back to working as a Teaching Assistant in the Reception and Year 1 Classes. Now with my youngest daughter I have decided to work as a childminder to work around my family. I have completed the Home Based Childcare Award, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and other training courses. Details on Coventry FIS.

- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
£7 an hour
£60 a day
All Government Early Education Funded hours can be used
Childcare vouchers and Tax free childcare also accepted
