Charley started looking after our son when he turned 1 and we would recommend her to other families without hesitation. She is fun, warm, attentive, thoughtful and practical. She was happy to accommodate our request for a more gentle settling in process than we were being offered elsewhere. Our son is quite cautious, and was still breastfeeding and having contact naps at home when he started, so it was a big change. Charley was brilliant at judging what pace to take things at and he bonded with her and felt safe really quickly. She offers a lovely balance of down time at home, fun activities out and about like playing in the woods or visiting animals at the garden centre, and play with larger groups of kids too, as she has a network of other childminders who meet regularly. Our son is excited when we arrive at Charley’s house and full of beans after his days there -- we couldn’t really ask for better feedback.
