About Me

My name is Myra MacLean. I am married with a daughter and a pet cat. I live in a bungalow with a large enclosed garden and lots of outdoor play equipment and a playroom.
I attend local play groups and use local facilities such as libraries, parks and soft play. I am secretary of Barrhead Childminding Group.
I offer a home from home care environment that is tailored the meet the individual child's needs.
My typical day is from 8am to 6 pm, but I'm flexible. I also collect from Cross Arthurlie Primary School.
I have a full, clean driving licence and have a people carrier which helps in the bad weather, getting to playgroup or days out.
I'm on the local bus route and 5 minute walk from the train station and right next door to our local primary school.

My Experience

I have over 22 years childminding experience from very young babies to 12 years.

My Qualifications

I have recently completed as SVQ Social Services Children & Young People (SCQF level 7). I also hold an SVQ2 in Early years & Education, NC child Development, East Renfrewshire Council Scheme of Excellence for Childminders, Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene Certificate and many other qualifications facilitated by East Renfrewshire Councils Child Care Training Department and childcare.co.UK
I am registered by the Care Inspectorate (SCISWIS) and am member of The Scottish Childminding Association.
I have full public liability insurance and relevant business class car insurance.
