Hello! I’m Amy and I’m currently available for babysitting within 5 miles of B64. (However I can be flexible for special exceptions)
I am a friendly, outgoing person with many years experience working with children of all ages, and have extensive knowledge around SEND.
I currently work full-time in a school as a teaching assistant but I am available for occasional babysitting on weekends and after work in the week. During school holidays I will have a lot more flexibility.
My Experience
I have 4 years experience working within a nursery setting and 6+ years working with SEND children. I am currently working in year 6, in a mainstream school.
I am very proud that I have recently completed my BA (Hons) Education Studies (Primary) Degree with The Open University.
I hold an up to date DBS, and childcare qualification certificates which can be viewed upon request.
I also have paediatric first aid training that I completed in May 2023.
My Qualifications
My current qualifications include:
9 A-C's at GCSE level, including maths, science and english.
2 A levels - Media and film.
As level - Communication and Culture.

Amy recently looked after our 3 children for our first babysitter experience and we were instantly put at ease. She was fantastic from the get go and my youngest who is normally picky, took to her instantly. An effort was made with all our children and I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

We had Amy babysit for our 3 year old son who has ASD. Amy was an instant hit with him, she was warm, friendly and confident. We felt very at ease with leaving our son with her and we would definitely be in contact again when we are in the area again. My son still talks about Any even now and he says that he had a lovely time with him which is so nice to hear 😊

Overall
Amy has been our babysitter and sometimes nanny since July 2022 and she is fantastic! Both our children love her very much! Amy is very calm, caring and super engaging, keeping both children interested, even if it's tidying up or reading before bedtime.
