my name is Julie, I’m a ofsted registered childminder and a mum to two children, both at university, we have lived in our present house for over 21 years , its situated in a quiet cul-d-sac on the south side of calne, i'm local to the area, i enjoy the countryside, friendly personality who, love my animals, dog, horse and two ponies x
My Experience
i have been a registered child-minder since 2003, Before this I spent 21 years in a pharmaceutical company, since becoming a childminder, i have looked after a range of ages from 1 week to school age, I’ve also spent some time as a nanny to a family of 5,have experience with twins. My aim is to, always try to accommodate parents for the needs of their children,by working together, open and honest, is paramount, in getting to know them and their children, by asking, a all about me, I promote a healthy, fun , warm, safe, loving environment for the children, where they all fit into my family life, they can learn and grow in a home from home setting, I monitor their learning through the eyfs framework and help them achieve their independence , I love the outdoors, so we get out to local parks, walks/woods and soft plays most days
I belong to local childminding groups toddler groups and a quality assurance group run by the council,
I have a assistant that is dbs checked and first aid trained, so I can call on them to help when required, I run a small friendly unit to ensure all the children’s needs are met.
