Hello, my name is Marcella, I’m an Ofsted registered nanny.
My Experience
I have been nannying for 29 years and have excellent checkable references from all my previous positions. I have experience from newborn-18 years of age, and multiples experience also.
I have worked in Hampstead NW3, where I stayed with a family for 12 years, caring for their 2 boys from birth until 13 years of age, but more recently have found work more locally to E17.
I have held sole charge positions and also 5 nannyshare positions.
My Qualifications
I do not have a childcare qualification but do have a wealth of experience with children from birth onwards, professionally and from having my own children.
I am Ofsted registered, Enhanced DBS on the update service and hold an up to date paediatric first aid certificate. Public liability insurance, with business insurance on my car.
Common core skills and knowledge certificate also.

My Fees
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My rates for a nanny share (1 child per family) are £20 per hour net to be shared between the 2 families. £15 per hour net for sole charge with 1 child, £18 per hour net for working with 1 family with 2 children-which rises by £3 for each extra child, with my tax and national insurance to be paid for by my employers.
Babysitting is £15 per hour before 10pm, after which £20 per hour

Marcella has been looking after my 2 year-old as part of a nanny-share, and she has been absolutely brilliant. I can't recommend her enough.
She has a lot of experience with young children and is skilfully able to handle all kinds of situations that could be difficult for someone less experienced (such as bedtimes, and sleep generally, difficult eaters, children's separation anxiety, and so on). I have never doubted that my child is safe in her care. She is an excellent cook and makes delicious, nutritious meals.
Marcella is also very active and fun with the kids, always coming up with stimulating outings and entertaining activities. She bakes, cooks, paints and makes things with the kids.
All in all, she's brilliant.
