My Experience
I have 18 years of previous experience working in both nurseries and nannying. I have also done some proxy parenting looking after a little girl between the age of about 3 months and 4 years, taking her on day trips out to the park, zoo, farm etc, looking after her over night and also for whole weekends. I have also done lots of babysitting from about the age of 15.
I have previous experience as a sole charge nanny for children ranging from 3 months old to 10 years old, caring for a variety of 1-3 children. I would follow their daily routine, take children to and from school and taking the younger children to various places such as music groups, messy play groups, to the park, to soft play and to baby and toddler groups. We would also do baking and different messy play activities at home.
My Qualifications
I have a CACHE Diploma in Childcare and education (Level 3), a child psychology (Level 4) and a social work with children and families (level 4) qualifications. I also have a current first aid certificate and DBS. During working in the nursery I have also carried out a few short courses such as child protection, Outdoor play and risky play for the under 5's.
