About Me
Hi my name is Angela Keen and I have been a registered childminder with SCSWIS since April 2013 but prior to this I was a Registered Childminder with the Scottish Care Commission (now SCSWIS) and Ofsted from 2006 until 2009
I have three children of my own and live in Shortlees in Kilmarnock. My main goal is to provide quality childcare throughout the Shortlees area that allows parents to be confident that their child/ren are being cared for in a safe, secure environment where they can play, learn, have fun, be happy and content whilst being encouraged to grow into confident young individuals.
My Experience
I have three children Aged 15, 101and 4 so I have experience in handling children. I encourage children within my setting to interact and socialise with other children, this may be at the local play area, park etc under my watchful eye.
I have a HNC in business and a SVQ 3 in children care learning and development, I am first aid trained and I am constantly adding to my knowledge by undertaking courses and ensuring I keep up to date with current legislation.
We are always out and about and no two days are the same during the week, older children are encourage to voice their opinions on what they would like to do within my setting.

My Availability
Hours of availability are Monday to Friday fromi 8am - 6pm. but I can be flexible regarding these hours if required including weekends.
I do drop offs/pick ups from local school and nursery which is Shortlees Primary School and Shortlees Nursery
I have 2 term time places available ideal for those who are at college and looking for childcare for their little ones
