Hello Parents,My name is Rose, and I am a gentle, kind-hearted, playful, and energetic nanny with over 15 years of professional experience caring for children from newborns all the way to secondary school age [3.5].

I offer families far more than standard childcare, I nurture through love, understanding, patience, teaching, and by example.

Moments That Matter:
After 2.5 years together, my current twin boys and I have little conversations that truly say it all:

"Nanny Rose you came back, we are friends"

And the one that made me cry:"Nanny Rose... are you a lady? yes... You're a good lady"

That is exactly why I do this job.

My Experience

My Professional Experience

I bring over 15 years of professional experience as a nanny, caring for children from newborns to secondary school age. My journey began with earning a Diploma in Childcare, during which I completed a six-month work placement in a nursery. This provided me with a strong foundation in child development, attachment, separation anxieties, developmental milestones, and various play and behavioural techniques.

I also have extensive experience caring for multiple children across different ages and developmental stages, including:
Twins & Multiples
Twins plus one
Two children
Four children and more
This diverse background has equipped me to adapt seamlessly to the unique dynamics, rhythms, and needs of each individual family and child I work with.

Current Role - 2 1/2 Years with Twin Boys
(14 months to 3 1/2 years):

I joined this lovely family when the boys were 14 months old, and I have had the privilege of caring for them for the past 2 1/2 years until they start full-time nursery. It has been a journey full on adventures, laughter, love, milestones, and yes - challenging days too!

Watching them grow from toddlers into confident , happy little preschoolers with such strong, distinct individual personalities has been the most rewarding part. They are thriving, happy, and adventures boys.

Previous Role - 3 wonderful years caring for twin boys and their older sibling:
It was an incredibly joyful and fun experience, watching the twins grow from toddlers into preschoolers. Our time together was filled with cheeky moments, mischief, and countless adventures, all while marking important milestones in their development.

DAY TO DAY CARE & SUPPORT FOR PARENTS:
Whether working alongside you or as a sole-carer.
Daily Care: (nursery duties only).
Newborn & Infant: bottle preparation, sterilising, gentle weaning support, nappy changes, dressing, and healthy meal preparation.

Milestones: Guiding potty training, encouraging self-feeding, developing fine motor skills , Self-care.

Routines: Managing schedules, including the transition from two naps to one.

Safety & Play: Creating a safe, loving environment for age-appropriate play and emotional support.

Health, Safety & Communication
First aid training , Medication: I administer prescribed medicine only with explicit parental consent and logs.

Daily tracking: I keep you updated on nap times, food intake, diaper changes, and developmental milestones.
Health: Certified in paediatric first aid.

Learning Through Play & School Readiness
I firmly believe that playing is a child's best learning tool. I plan custom, weekly, age-appropriate activities that naturally enhance a child's social, physical, emotional, communication, and language development through dedicated one-to-one interaction.

Exploring the World & Indoor Play
I love taking children out into the community to heighten their awareness of the environment and provide rich, real-world learning opportunities.

Outdoor Adventures: Long walks, splashing in puddles, treasure hunts in parks and fields, and visiting farms and museums.

Community Outings: Heading to playgroups, libraries, soft play, and even supermarket trips—where we practice handling money, counting, and learning about sounds, shapes, and colours while staying safe.

At-Home Fun: supporting and encouraging early walking, reading stories, singing nursery rhymes, peekaboo, singing dancing . As your child age the play changes , playing snap, solving puzzles, story telling, building with construction toys, arts and crafts etc.

Social Skills & Community Connection

I believe developing friendships in the local community is essential for a child's happiness and confidence.

Socialization & Play: I actively demonstrate to preschool children how to approach others at playgroups, supporting them through sharing, turn-taking, compromising, and caring behavior.

Making Connections: We make lasting friends through stay-and-play sessions and regular visits to local parks, museums and during library Rhyme and story time.

The "Nursery on Wheels": In my 2 ½ years with the twins, the boys made more than 10 friends their own age. We spent our winter and summer months hanging out together so often that locals called our lineup of strollers the "nursery on wheels"!

School Readiness: Because we focused on local connections, some of those friends are now joining the twins at nursery, making their transition smooth and familiar.

The Power of Creative Play: Children have always loved my arts and crafts sessions at home on stormy days where it is only safe indoors.

Quiet & Independent Play: I highly encourage independent quiet play. Over my 15-year career, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible benefits of solo play—especially for twins and toddlers who need a healthy break from one another.

Fosters Core Skills: In my experience, playing alone builds deep concentration, naturally calms and relaxes the body, and sharpens real-world problem-solving.

Ignites Imagination: I love watching children explore without interruption. It brings their creativity alive, builds vital independence, and grows their self-confidence.

Navigating Frustration: Solo play can sometimes create frustration when a toy or puzzle doesn't work. This is exactly where I step in to help—teaching them how to regulate their big emotions, talk through the frustration, and problem-solve with gentle adult guidance.

Bonding in the Kitchen: Cooking together is another fantastic way to bond. It helps develop their verbal language, listening skills, hygiene awareness, and early numeracy, all while having fun.I bond quickly with children because I take the time to truly listen and communicate with each child individually.

I believe children are happiest when they are having fun, which naturally encourages them to engage more with me, other children, and the world around them.

Preschool Preparation: By the time your child reaches preschool age under my care, they will have developed the essential skills to be highly independent and fully prepared for nursery.

Together, we will achieve:
Becoming fully potty trained.Tidying up after themselves and dressing independently (including zipping their coat).Writing their name and confidently recognizing shapes, colours, numbers, phonics, and the alphabet.

My Approach to Behaviour
I want to see every child achieve and do their best, so I strive to create a comfortable, loving, and reassuring atmosphere. I set clear, age-appropriate rules, boundaries, and consequences that your child will easily understand and follow.

In this job, everyday is entirely different. Today you might have an easy, happy-going child, and tomorrow you might face a difficult, challenging day.I am a firm, calm nanny with a lot of experience dealing with these exact situations when they arise. There is absolutely nothing wrong with these situations; it is simply how children express how they are feeling and navigate their big emotions.

I have an abundance of patience for all the tantrums, the clumsiness, shyness, cheekiness, and stubbornness. Whatever comes my way, I will be right there to assist your child in a calm, empathetic, collected, and professional manner.

I work and lead by example. Your child will have a nanny who deeply cares about their happiness, achievements, growth, and emotional wellbeing—a nanny who is a great listener, fun, and shows genuine compassion, love, empathy, kindness, and respect towards your entire family.

Routine & Structure.
I believe in the absolute importance of routine, structure, and consistency. By establishing a predictable daily schedule, your child(ren) will feel reassured and confident, knowing what to expect throughout their day. Over time, this consistency helps your child(ren) build independence and confidence as they learn to navigate their day with ease.

Every child needs to feel safe, loved, and heard. They need to receive the right emotional support to give them the ultimate confidence to reach their full potential.Over the years, I have built and maintained strong, lasting relationships with the families I have worked for, some of whom I am still in close contact with today.

If you want a nanny who will put your mind completely at ease and invest wholeheartedly in your child(ren) while building a lasting bond with your family, I would love to hear from you.

Thank you so much for your time.
God Bless you and your family. Rose
