About Me

Hi! I qualified as a childminder nearly 12 years ago. I have been very busy since then and absolutely love my job!

I am a fun, easy going person and I love learning new things. I am a firm believer in learning through play and I don't mind getting messy in the process! I consider myself kind, friendly, outgoing and motivated. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Discipline is very important to me but so is laughter and making memories! I completed a Law degree some years ago and realised soon afterwards that teaching children is where my passion and love is! I provide fun as well as safety in my setting and enjoy trips to the park, farms, playgroups and other various exciting adventures! I am health conscious and love making healthy food and snacks to ensure that children are getting all of the nutrients they need to stay happy and healthy.

My Experience

My main experience is gained through looking after a number of children since qualifying. My additional experience is gained through looking after my daughter and 2 stepdaughters.

My Qualifications

I am Ofsted registered, have a childminding qualification, first aid qualified and i have taken further training courses on nutrition, safeguarding, fire safety in the home, sleep training plus more.

My Availability

LATEST UPDATE - I have a space on Mondays and Thursdays before and after school (Southborough Primary School).

Babysitting - I offer weekend babysitting at reasonable rates.

I offer both Free Early Education funding plus FF2 funding. Please contact me should you need more information on either of those.

My Fees

  • Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
  • Childminding from £8.50 per hour

This can be discussed upon interest however I am very reasonable and offer discounted rates for families with more than one child needing childcare.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks will be included unless packed lunch/snacks are preferred. Wipes and any outing costs are also included in my fees.

Brilliantly enthusiastic

Pernille was amazing with my first child Kyle. He loved the days he spent with Pernille, going on outings, to the park, he loved playing dress up and doing lots of arts & crafts along with learning!
If I ever needed a childminder Pernille would be my first choice!

Childminding

We have been very fortunate to find a really enthusiastic and lovely childminder. Our daughter who will be two in November absolutely adores Pernille and can't wait to say bye to us, when we are at the door. Belle has come on leaps and bounds there is always lots of fun things to do reading, role play and dress up, we have had lots of paintings and drawings too. Plus Pernille always ensures there is an outdoor activity every week we go. We would highly recommend Pernille to anyone looking for a childminder.
