ExpNanny
Nanny in Camden (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
I am passionate about creating and providing a calm, nurturing and
emotionally safe environment where children feel secure, valued and heard.
The childs needs are always at the centre of every decision, with a strong
emphasis on learning through play, emotional wellbeing and healthy
development in all areas including mealtimes where I enjoy making a varied
range of nutritious and balanced meals and snacks using my experience of
cooking for allergies if needed. I believe in a balanced diet right from the start of weaning, encouraging even the fussiest of eaters to try new foods.
For the past five years, I have continued to work as a nanny in Copenhagen,
gaining valuable insight into a di?erent childcare approach that strongly
embraces outdoor play, independence and connection to nature in all
weathers. This experience has further enriched my practice and
strengthened my belief in the importance of fresh air, exploration and
balanced routines.
I value working closely with parents as a team, building trusting relationships
and providing consistent and thoughtful care tailored to each family.
Alongside looking after your children, I take pride in supporting the smooth
running of the family home, particularly for parent working long and
demanding hours. By managing daily routines, child related organisation
including school meds, packed lunches and activities and creating structure, I
enable parents to return home and focus on spendiing meaningful time with
their children
As a professional I work with parents, making your lives easier wherever possible, and am happy to take responsibility for nursery duties, children’s shopping and supporting their education by supervising homework and liaising with nursery or school.
I am a non smoker, hold a clear enhanced CRB and a First Aid certificate that meets OFSTED’s requirements. Although I do not hold a driving license, I am extremely practiced and confident to using public transport with my charges regardless of their age.
My Experience
I have worked for over 40 families over the last 19 years, caring for children from newborn to teens through full time and part time sole charge nannying, evening and weekend babysitting, ad hoc care, emergency cover and overnight babysitting.
I have vast experience with juggling the needs of very different aged children- I can often be found bouncing a small baby on one knee whilst helping with year 5 homework! I am also highly capable of arranging activities that suit their different ages and interests and ensuring everyone receives age appropriate stimulation and learning through play.
I pride myself on providing a safe and nurturing environment full of laughter, fun, stimulating learning opportunities and where hugs are in plentiful supply!
Although I do not hold a driving license, I am extremely experienced and confident in using public transport with large groups of children and young children.
I have multiple excellent references available on request.

I have known Emma for three years both in her capacity working for a close family friend and caring for my own two children; Charlotte (4) and James (3).
Emma is a highly competant nanny who is simply wonderful with children. She has the ability to form strong and positive relationships with children quickly and to ensure they learn well and safely. More importantly however she is great fun and always ensures that days are a great adventure for my two.
Our recent relocation to Warwickshire is th only reason that we don't have Emma working with us today.
In addition to being a great nanny to my children, Emma has been a fantastic support to the whole family and she is able to manage the home extremely well. I have relied on Emma for support in the evening, she has provided both meals for the children and family meals on request. She always ensures my home is tidier at the end of the day than it ever started out that morning.
My children miss Emma and I am glad I have been able to keep in contact since our move. I recommend her without reservation.
