My Experience

I've been a registered childminder in Thames Ditton for the past fifteen years, and it's a role I still find as rewarding today as when I started. I hold an Early Years teaching degree, which shapes everything about how I plan a child's day, and I'm proud to have held an Outstanding Ofsted rating for twelve years, most recently being rated Strong across the board. My approach is rooted in play-based learning, drawing especially on the Froebelian philosophy of hands-on, child-led exploration alongside the EYFS framework — I believe young children learn best through real experiences, natural materials, and unhurried time with a trusted adult in the community. Over the years I've had the privilege of watching so many little ones grow into confident, curious children, and I'd be delighted to put prospective families in touch with past and present parents who can speak to that firsthand. I have strong links with local nurseries and can support transitions when children are ready.

My Qualifications

I have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare and education and a degree in Early years teaching and learning .I am first aid certified,CRB Checked, Ofsted registered, i have a clean driving License and live in a smoke free house with a garden. I also have comprehensive knowledge of Safeguarding particularly in a home-based childcare setting.

My Availability

I have 1 full time space available from October 2026 Monday-Thursday . I will consider term-time only contracts.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Childminding from £9.00 per hour
