My Experience

With 26 yrs of childcare experience, I’m delighted to be able to welcome families to my newly registered childminding setting. My journey has been shaped by 13 years as a dedicated childminder and 13 yrs as an equally as dedicated nanny, giving me a deep understanding of children’s individual needs at every stage of their development.

For me childcare is far more than a job, it is a true privilege. Being part of a child’s early years, watching them grow in confidence, curiosity and independence is something I treasure. My setting is a warm, welcoming space where every child feels safe, secure and celebrated for who they are. I believe that children thrive best when they are valued and supported and I take pride in creating an environment filled with kindness, encouragement and opportunities to learn.

I understand that high-quality childcare is built on strong relationships, which is why I place great importance on building and maintaining a secure, trusting partnership with both children and their families. Open communication, mutual respect and working together ensures that every child receives consistent care and feels fully supported both at home and in my setting.

My role is to guide, support and nurture each child, helping them build confidence, develop new skills and flourish at their own pace. Through a balance of structured activities and free play, I aim to create a space where children feel happy, inspired and excited to learn.

My Qualifications

I have my NVQ 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development, Level 3 in preparing to work in home based childcare, safeguarding, paediatric first aid and have attended various other courses such as introduction to EYFS (early years foundation stage) and implementing EYFS.

My Availability

I have availability Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

My Fees

• Childminding from £7.00 per hour

I accept government funding and tax free childcare
