About Me
I have been working with children of all ages for the last 29 years; I have worked as an au-pair, nanny, teaching assistant, SEN nanny with experience of ADHD and those on the autistic spectrum, after school club manager and now having completed a degree in education, I was a Learning Mentor and now a member of our Educational and Pastoral Support team with a specialism in English and English as an additional language.
I am kind, patient, funny, resourceful, artistic, reliable, punctual and firm but fair. I will always put children first!!! I have never forgotten what it is like to be a child.
I have formed many, many warm relationships with children and families over the years and still have close bonds with those for whom I was a nanny aeons ago!
My Experience
For the last 23 years i have worked at one North London school from whom I can provide excellent references. I ran the Art Clubs, Homework Clubs and After School Club for several years as well as providing academic support to children particularly in English, spelling, reading, comprehension, grammar, writing and handwriting.
I have worked with very low achieving children and have been able to move them along in their academic levels as well as offering a level of encouragement, emotional support and praise.
I have also worked with children in play settings and particularly enjoy engaging with them whether it is over art, games, cookery or quieter pastimes such as reading or crafts.
My Qualifications
25 years of experience with children in a range of settings including in the home, after school clubs, the classroom, special needs clubs, summer schemes and school trips and overnight journies.
I have worked in the UK and in Europe.
I have a degree in Education from the Institute of Education in London

Weekdays from 5 pm till late.
Weekends, anytime.
