About Me

hi my name is ellie umney and i live in kingslangley i have 2 children of my own 12 year old and 20 years . I have been childminding for 10years now and love my job meeting different people and over the years have built up some lovely friendships. I am ofsted registered and also hold my level 3 in childcare and have attended many other courses over the years to help improve my knowledge which I can use to help child grow and build in to confident and happy young people

My Experience

i am a mum of 2 boys aged 19and 11 and know how important it is as a parent to know your children are safe and happy .i have been looking after children of all ages now for 10 years and have a very good relationship with all my children and there parents and i feel i offer a loving friendly home for children to come and feel safe and warm and also have lots of fun .since i,v been childminding i have looked after many children some long term that are still with me and some just short time and i still have a great relationship with them who are no longer with me as they still like to visit regularly to see there friends they have made whilst in my care .

My Qualifications

i have my diploma in homebased childcare and first aid and safeguarding children ,i also attened many cousre offered to childminders . i also have my level 3 diploma in childcare and currently doing a course on autism and child counseling
