We are a busy, loving family looking for an experienced and reliable babysitter who is happy in a lively household.

We have seven children ranging in age from 4 to 15, along with two friendly long-haired Dachshunds. They can be a little noisy when someone arrives, but they're very friendly once they've said hello!

Although we have a large family, our oldest two boys, aged 15 and 14, are very independent and don't require any care.

The younger children are aged 11, 10, 8, 7 and 4. They are generally well behaved, but they are children after all, so we're not expecting someone who wants everything to be perfectly regimented.

They're full of personality and energy, enjoy playing games, doing crafts, and generally having fun. We'd love to find someone who enjoys getting involved, keeping them entertained, and is confident caring for children of different ages.

The children have a well-established evening routine, so bedtime is usually straightforward once everyone has settled down.

Our two Dachshunds are affectionate members of the family, so you'll need to be comfortable around dogs (although they can be crated). They don't require much beyond letting them out, giving them a fuss, and putting up with a bit of barking when people arrive!

We're looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, patient and caring, and who can bring a calm, confident presence to our busy home. If you enjoy working with children and don't mind a lively household, we'd love to hear from you.

We don't have a fixed schedule, so we're looking for someone who can offer flexibility. Childcare may be needed for daytime or evening babysitting, occasional overnight stays, and the very occasional weekend.
