About Me
I provide a warm, welcoming home-based childcare setting where children can learn, play, and grow in a nurturing family environment. As a married mum to a wonderful daughter born in 2022, I understand the importance of creating a safe, caring space where children feel secure, valued, and truly at comfortable.
Our setting is based near Prestwood Common, with woodland, allotments, and open green spaces right on our doorstep. Being home-based allows us to offer a calm, comfortable atmosphere combined with rich learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors. We make full use of our local area, regularly visiting local woodlands, markets, libraries, smallholdings, and farms, as well as outings further a field to museums, music classes, soft plays and zoos.
At the setting children benefit from a carefully planned environment designed to encourage curiosity and independence. Our recently landscaped garden provides a safe and stimulating outdoor space where children can explore, be adventurous, and enjoy nature all year round. Indoors, we enjoy messy play, arts and crafts, baking, home cooking, and sharing lots of stories together. We also enjoy visiting yoga teachers and music teachers
My approach is child-led, focusing on learning through play and exploration. I tailor activities to each child’s individual interests, needs, and stage of development, ensuring every child feels included, engaged, and excited about their day.
I was recently graded Good by Ofsted, reflecting my commitment to providing high-quality care and early years education within a supportive home environment.

From the very beginning, we knew we had found someone special. Choosing childcare is never easy, especially when your child has additional health needs, but this childminder has truly exceeded every expectation we could have had.
She has been looking after my daughter for over a year now, and the care she provides is nothing short of outstanding. My daughter has additional health needs, and she caters to them amazingly. She takes the time to understand her requirements fully and supports her with such patience, compassion, and professionalism. It gives me complete peace of mind knowing my daughter is in such capable and caring hands.
The activities she provides are varied and thoughtfully planned. The children enjoy a wonderful mix of indoor and outdoor experiences, including soft play trips, yoga sessions, visits to see Santa at Christmas, trips to the garden centre, nature walks, and plenty of creative crafting. Every day brings something engaging and enriching, helping the children learn, grow, and have fun.
The food she prepares is all homemade, healthy, nutritious, and varied. The children are provided with hot meals for lunch and different snacks each day, ensuring they are well-fed with balanced and wholesome options. It’s clear she puts a lot of care into planning meals that support their wellbeing.
She is also incredibly flexible and often helps with extra hours if needed, which has been such a support for our family. That level of understanding and willingness to help makes such a difference.
The children in her setting all get along so well, which is a true sign of the happy, nurturing environment she creates. The toys are regularly rotated and kept clean, keeping the space fresh, stimulating, and safe. She also has pets, including a lovely therapy dog, which the children absolutely adore and benefit from greatly.
Overall, I cannot recommend her highly enough. She provides a safe, caring, enriching, and joyful environment where children truly thrive. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her, and she has made a lasting positive impact on our daughter’s life.
