Hello and welcome! My name is Michelle Maccormack and I am a caring and dedicated childminder based in Alness.
I am a proud mum of three wonderful children, which has given me valuable hands-on experience in caring for children of different ages and stages. Becoming a parent has strengthened my passion for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and feel happy.
I have recently started my journey as a registered childminder here in Alness, and I am excited to support local families by offering reliable, home-based childcare. My home is a warm and welcoming space where children are encouraged to explore, play, and develop confidence at their own pace.
I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your child. I aim to build strong relationships with both children and parents, ensuring open communication and a supportive partnership.

My Experience
I have over 15 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I worked in a nursery for 12 years, supporting children through early learning and development, and then spent 3 years working in an after-school club, caring for older children and providing fun, engaging activities. Alongside my professional experience, I am also a mum to three children, which has given me valuable hands-on knowledge of children’s needs at different ages and stages. Throughout my career, I have completed many courses and training programmes to continue developing my skills and ensure I provide high-quality, up-to-date childcare.
