My Requirements

I am looking for a nanny to care primarily for my youngest daughter, aged 6, at our home in the centre of Hassocks. I have two older children aged 16 and 14, who mainly look after themselves but may need occasional help with getting to hobbies and so on. The position is up to 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) from 2.00pm to around 6pm during term time. I am open to employing someone who can do fewer of these days or slightly different hours. There will also be full days available in the school holidays on an ad hoc basis if wanted.

Duties will include collecting the youngest from school (a 4 minute walk), preparing dinner and ideally some assistance with ferrying the eldest to after school activities 10 minutes away by car (until she passes her driving test). The youngest may also need to be taken to some after school clubs, though these are in Hassocks.

I am looking for someone who is caring, flexible and can show initiative, and who can keep up with my youngest daughter better than I can! We are a fairly relaxed family, though my husband and I both have quite full-on jobs. My children are, I hope, polite and considerate. I am flexible about qualification level / experience and would be open to someone who wanted to bring their own child.

I am ideally looking for someone who can start as soon as possible in September, when she schools go back.
