Hello.
My name is Laura Snape. Im 37 years old and live in Reigate with my fiancée.
I do not drive!!
I'm a local nanny in Reigate town at the moment. I'm looking for a new nanny role as the family I’m with have had a change of circumstances so no longer require my help.
I am Ofsted registered and first aid trained. I have a DBS check too. References can be provided…
I’m looking for school runs, split shifts or full day work. I am available any days of the week. I would like a minimum of 3 days. 21 hours preferred or more.
I have 9 years experience as a nanny, along with many years in a Montessori nursery. I have also worked in Australia as a governess. (19 years experience total)
I love to be out doors, walking is a passion of mine along with reading..
I partake in swimming,bike riding and the gym in my spare time
As a carer, I would have to say Im firm but fair.
Child led play is always the most fun, I like them to lead the activities..cooking, painting, den building. Variety is the spice of life...
I regularly take the children out for day trips and jump on the bus or train for various activities.
I like to fully immerse the children in my family and meet some close friends who have children too. So that the children I care for meet new people and play with a variety of children.
My Experience
I have previously worked in a Montessori nursery as a nursery nurse and then a SENCO.(Special Educational Needs Coordinator)
I've worked for charity, helping children and adults.
Whilst travelling I tutored a child who was part of the school outback system..school of the air.
Babysitting is always an option for me, I enjoy seeing the children I care for outside of work, I am still in contact with many of the families of the children I have educated.

My Qualifications
11 GCSE's passed at various grades when attending Reigate School.
CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education achieved at East Surrey College for A levels.
Montessori Assistant training whilst at work at Daisy Chain Montessori nursery.
Surrey County Council courses renewed when required.
Paediatric First Aid with Daisy first aid.
Makaton trained whilst at work.
Ofsted Registered for 4 years as families requested it for financial circumstances. Before this time one family did not need me registered.
