About Me
: I am a qualified nursery nurse and part time babysitter with 20 years working experience children ages 0-14.
I am registered with Ofsted and have a clear CRB check, also for 19 years I have been working with Westminster social services as an approved foster carer.
I am a motivated and enthusiastic hard -working individual, with the ability to work well under pressure. I consider myself trustworthy, reliable, organized and able to work on own initiative, with parents and as part of a team. I understand the importance of finding the right carer for your child and for that reason I provide high level of care for every individual child. I believe I have excellent parental skills and experience to be able to work confident and positive when it comes to interacting and dealing with children of all ages.
As a team player I endeavour to establish the best working relationships with my colleges. I am always looking to give 100% to my work, which gives me great satisfaction. I am seeking to utilise and further develop my skills in a challenging role.
My Experience
September 2012 - July 2013 Ibarra Family, Part-time Nanny
I cared for the 3 year old son and carried out duties such as picking him up from school, teaching him parts of the school curriculum, such as developing his personal and writing skills and behaviour. In addition, I took him to after-school clubs and also in occasion, looked after his 5 year old brother. (4 days per week)
Reason for Leaving: He will be starting full-time education, therefore parents no longer require my assistance.
August 2008 - June 2013 Kostoula Family, Full-time Nanny
I began looking after their 7 month baby girl and throughout the years, I have been responsible for her personal development, such as helping her to talk, to walk and to potty train and contributed to her education, for example, teaching her to write, to count and also taught her Spanish as a second language. Further to my duties as a carer, I have built a strong relationship with the family and their trust.
Reason for Leaving: Parent no longer working and child going to Year 1 full time education.
