About Me
We live near Hungerford. I am a qualified experienced nanny.
I am married and have a 12 year old daughter. We have recently adopted a baby girl (born Nov 24) and I have been on adoption leave. I will be looking to return to work part time, bringing her with me from April 2026 at earliest.
I bring a huge amount of experience and knowledge while being flexible on salary if she joins me.
I'm patient, flexible, firm but fair in disciplining, consistent and believe manners are very important.
Activities I enjoy with the children in my care: going to groups, parks, library, walks, fresh air, days out, puddle jumping, play dates, arts & crafts, garden time, puzzles, reading and games.
Update June: I have recently started as self employed and am available Wednesdays- Fridays and during all school holidays.
I’m also very open to any night nanny roles as find they fit around family life well.
My Experience
25 years + child care experience.
I have worked with 0-12 yr olds in various nanny and nursery positions. I have mainly worked as a nanny.
I have worked with lots of babies and pre school aged children as well as older siblings, assisting with homework and after school activities and play dates. I have worked in lots of positions with multiple children.
I have experience with weaning, potty training, settling into settings, moving house, introducing new siblings.
I’m also a mum, I understand how hard it is to find someone you trust to leave your children with.
Pre adoption leave I was working as a TA in a primary school for 2 years so also have experience in this area too.
My Qualifications
DCE, diploma in child care and education Level 3
First aid training updated every 3yrs
DBS certificate
Food hygiene certificate
Play qualification
Child psychology diploma
Safeguarding trained
I have been ofsted registered in the past but for my current role it wasn’t necessary.
My Availability
I had been working in a primary school for 2 years prior to going on adoption leave but am now looking at coming back to a nanny role.
I’m available from April 2026 and am starting back as self employed. Update June: Currently now working Mondays & Tuesdays term time only so looking to fill another 2 days a week. I’m available all of the school holidays too.
I am looking for regular local babysitting jobs too.
I have written references from all my previous jobs with lasting relationships with most of them and they are all contactable.
I have my own fully insured 7 seater car.
I’m also looking for night nanny roles.
My Fees
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (net)
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
Negotiable £16-20ph
