I am a very friendly, fun loving person who loves working with children.
I love being able to watch and help children to learn and to develop and overall have fun!
I am a driver and non smoker and have an up to date paediatric first aid certificate.
I am a mum of a two little girls aged 10 years and 8 years. I have been a nanny for over 17 years, before becoming a nanny I worked in nurseries for several years.
I currently work as a part time nanny doing 2 full days. My daughters are both at school.
I am lucky enough that the two days I work my daughters are able to be with their grandparents who take them and pick the up from school on those days. I also have full cover of my girls are ever off sick or off school.
My girls have luckily always been included into the families I work with and love being able to be part of any new families lives.
We love having my nanny families as an extension of our own family.
I am looking for job where I am able to work part time.
During my hours I am happy to do light chores, washing, dog walking and even house work, meal prepping.
I am also happy to do meter out cover, temp job roles or a permanent position.
Also term time only
I love being outdoors, I am creative, use my own initiative in anyway I feel can help the families I work with.
I give 100% and want to feel that I make a difference to the family I am with and hope that they include me as a family member and also in time consider my family as an extension to their household too.
I am fully dbs checked have a current paediatric first aid certificate and I Am
Ofsted registered.
I am very flexible with work and always happy to help with changes wherever possible.
I am also able to do evening/weekend babysitting.
My Experience
I have been a nanny for over 17 years now and during this time have worked with three families and currently with my fourth family.
I have been in childcare for aprox 19 years. Before becoming a nanny I worked in childrens day nurseries.
Whilst working in childcare I am lucky enough to have worked with all ages of children, from babies to school age children and I feel happy around all ages of children.
I also have my own children so have obviously good experience with newborns and young children as well as older ones.
My first nanny family I was lucky enough to be with for six years. I left to have my first daughter but I am still in contact with them and still talk and meet up, which I know is very lucky.
My second family I was with for two years and was unfortunately made redundant at two years.
Another long term family i was lucky enough to nanny for I had been with for just over fours years, and again am in regular contact and I am very lucky to still be part of the families lives. I unfortunately only left this role due to Covid and my families lives changing to to work roles changing due to Covid rules and flexibility.
I have since had short job roles of 6months and 1 year. They have been shorter roles due to changes in working roles occurring due to Covid and office role changes.
My Qualifications
I am NVQ level 3 qualified and hold a current paediatric first aid certificate.
My Availability
Babysitting in the evenings/weekends £12ph
Can also work weekends if needed.
Nanny pay £15 gross per hour
I would love the position to be as local to Chesham as possible.
