Four years on, still grateful we found this place!

My son started with Vicci at just 7 months old, and now, four years later, he's off to school: confident, kind, and so ready for the next step. Watching him grow from "baby L" to an energetic toddler and now a big boy who sets a gentle example for the younger children has been one of the real joys of these past few years, and so much of that is down to this nursery.

What makes this setting special is that it's a genuine family environment. Vicci runs it alongside her two sons, Khai and Beau, who both work there, while her other two children and her husband often pop in to say hello to the kids. Even the family dog is part of everyday life there. It never feels institutional; it feels like being looked after by people who actually love your children. Vicci is like a second mum to my kids. I'll never forget picking up my son early one day when he had a fever, and finding him cuddled in her arms, comforted, the whole time until I arrived. Khai and Beau are brilliant with the children as well, always inventing new games and keeping things fun, engaging, and fresh.

Being a small, mixed age setting also meant my daughter, who joined at 8 months, got to spend her days alongside her big brother. They've become close friends because of it, while still each having their own friendships within the group, which is a real bonus of the mixed age approach.

The activities strike a lovely balance between free play and Montessori-like learning. The kids also get to spend a lot of time in the garden, weather allowing, which is such a contrast to larger nurseries where outdoor time is often limited to fixed timeslots. My son loved the summer pool parties, with ice lollies and water guns, and at Christmas the children get an exciting programme including a Christmas lunch and a visit from Santa. I can genuinely say my son is walking into school well prepared, both academically and emotionally. I'm just glad my daughter still has two more years here before we have to say our own goodbye, which I know will be a hard one.

Highly recommend this nursery to any family looking for somewhere that feels like an extension of home.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Vicky enough. ❤️
Our journey with Vicky started back in 2022 when Albert joined her, and now, in 2026, our youngest son Arthur has also finished his time with her. It really is the end of such a special chapter for our family, and we feel so lucky that both of our boys have had the opportunity to grow up in such a loving, caring and nurturing environment.
Vicky is truly amazing at what she does. She is so family-orientated and has a wonderful way of making every child feel welcome, loved and special. It never feels like you are simply leaving your child at nursery or with a childminder — it feels like you are becoming part of a little family that grows together over the years. ❤️
It’s all the little touches that make such a huge difference. From making every child’s birthday feel so special and making sure they are all celebrated, to going above and beyond at Easter, Christmas, having Santa visit and creating so many magical memories for the children. These are the things that they will remember, and as parents, we will always be so grateful for.
Both Albert and Arthur have been so loved and cared for, and knowing they were happy, safe and so well looked after meant the absolute world to us.
Thank you, Vicky & The team for everything you have done for both of our boys and for all the memories you have given them. You really are one of a kind, and you will always hold such a special place in our family’s hearts. ❤️

An absolute perfect setting - the best fun & care!

My eldest son started with Vicci at 9 months in 2018 and my second was with Vicci until September 2025! Our years with Vicci and her fabulous family have been the best. We moved up to Yorkshire across the Covid years and stayed in touch. Getting a place for No. 2 back at Vicci's was essential to our plans to return to Bromley! The whole small team bring energy, personality, joy, love and care to the kids’ days. Ours absolutely thrived in this perfect set up. Their days were always full of variety and imaginative play in terms of in-door and out-door play, games, craft, singing, dancing and reading without it being overwhelming. Special days are marked with craft, parties and dressing up, from birthdays to World Book Day, and even, by popular demand, the release of the Minecraft Movie! The paddling pool and many trikes and bikes are always a massive hit. My youngest has just started school and was so well prepared – Vicci and team inspire a love of learning that is enjoyable and without pressure. And, of course, the environment is always spotlessly cleaned at the end of each day. Vicci cooks all the food and our youngest often reminds us that Vicci does it better than mummy! Both of our boys made loads of friends of all ages – and so did we - and both still talk about Vicci, Khai and everyone all the time.

Amazing experience with Vicci and her Team,

My son has a speech delay and made such a great progress with Vicci and her team. Very caring staff and very engaging learning environment.
It had such a positive impacts on my son’s development such as improved speaking, confidence, and social skills.
Nursery environment very warm and welcoming.
A lot of different activities on a daily basis. 
Healthy meals and snacks every day. The way my son was looked after made me feel like we are a family with all the support we received. If I could I would give more than 5 stars!

A wonderful time

My son C attended Crown Childcare, managed by Vicci and their team, and had an incredible experience. He had fun every day and thoroughly enjoyed his time there. The staff attended to his needs exceptionally well, and I am amazed at how much he has developed in such a short period.

Vicci provides a range of nutritious homemade meals such as Lamb Kofta, Greek pasta, Spaghetti bolognese and roast dinners.

The activities offered were diverse and engaging, including swimming, water play, crafts, baking, t-shirt making, and pizza making. They always had something exciting to do, complemented by structured sessions in maths and English, ensuring a well-rounded experience.

I highly recommend this nursery as the team is lovely, supportive and trustworthy. Your child will blossom and grow into a well rounded individual , Thankyou so much to all xxx

Amazing Childminder

Vicci and her team are excellent and provide the best support for the children under their care.

Our daughter attended Vicci’s setting since 11 months and she had a lovely time there, the food was amazing, we had great guidance on going through all major milestones for the early days which we will always be grateful for.

The friendly and family oriented environment made everyone feel at ease and confident that our child was very well looked after. We were very lucky to have Vicci and her team looking after her.

Vicci is the best!

Ralph started with Vicci full-time at 9 months as I returned to work. Vicci was so supportive through the challenges of those first months back at work, sending pix and little video clips through the day and at just the right moments! As Ralph grew it was clear how much he loved being with Vicci and Georgia. Vicci adores her job and as a result makes it seem effortless but she clearly works incredibly hard, as do the rest of the team to create a stimulating and fun environment for children to develop and grow. The children always looked like they are having a fantastic time and we often saw the results with new words and wonderful artwork, not to mention the football skills, dance moves and driving skills!

The outdoor space is brilliant for lots of outdoor activities. Indoors is exactly as you would want a playroom to be – homely, bright, clean, full of things to do, play with and read, and it is quite stylish too! It doesn’t have that slightly battered, worn feel that nurseries inevitably have.

When Ralph was attending, Vicci also had after school children. It was brilliant that Ralph was able to interact with children of all ages from babies to primary school children and also Vicci’s amazing family. It used to feel me with absolute joy when I walked towards the gate and could hear all the excited voices. And Vicci, would always have time for a chat, to fill us in on Ralph’s day, check in on my own and offer advice to a clueless new mum! This also gave me a valuable bit of time to enjoy seeing Ralph playing with his friends as well as meet other parents. At Christmas, when Santa came, everyone got together for games, gifts and party food. It was so special to be part of such a wonderful childcare family.

We moved up to Yorkshire in 2019 when Ralph turned two. Leaving Vicci’s was the hardest part of our move and, 18 months on, we still miss her and the family every day. Ralph has settled into a new nursery that he also loves but I don’t think it would be possible to find anywhere as loving, supportive and fun as Vicci’s. I really cannot recommend enough.

Amazing Childminder

Super!!!!

Really happy with Vicci and staff. Our son is 2 now and has been with Vicci since he was around 6 months old.
Vicci and her staff are really good and knowledgeable in what they do.
But most importantly, my son is super happy there. The way his face lights up when he sees Vicci in the mornings is testament to that.
I would recommend Vicci to anyone. Very family friendly and the kids get plenty of individual attention.
We couldn't ask for a better childminder. Really happy. :-)
