About Me
Located in Salhouse, Mama Bear Childcare which was established in 2018 is an Ofsted registered day care provision operated by Marie and her daughter Grace.
The provision is located in the conservation village of Salhouse and has good links with Salhouse C of E Primary School, Fledglings Nursery & Pre-school.
We are a non-smoking household.
The childminding service is available between the hours of 7.30am & 5.30pm Tuesday to Thursday.
The setting is able to provide care for children aged from 9months – 3 years
In the setting Mama Bear Childcare has many toys, games & activities on offer; role play, building bricks, dolls, pre-school learning toys, baby suitable toys, train set, dolls house, wooden stacking toys, play kitchen, books, crafts, outside ride on toys, games, sand pit, messy play & bouncy castle. Spike, Milo & Maeve the Cats.
The setting accepts tax free childcare payments BACS, 9month+ & 2year government funding, term time only.
My Experience
Over 7 years as an early years educator and Childminder experience with 9months to 3 years. Extensive cloth nappy experience.
My Qualifications
Marie is fully qualified to a Level 3 standard in home-based childcare, Paediatric First Aid Trained, Fully up-to-date safeguarding training and DBS checked & cleared.
Grace is currently doing an early years level 3 educator apprenticeship course as Marie’s assistant. She is DBS checked and cleared. She is currently waiting to carry out her first aid training and safeguarding in December 2025.

- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
£65.00 per day. Tax Free Childcare accepted as well as all government funding.
