My name is Clara and I’m 40 years old and I live in Cwmbran. I have a clean driving licence and car insurance to travel with children. I’m a non smoker. I am a reliable and trustworthy individual. I’m a caring and down to earth person, I’ve always had a passion for caring for children and watching them grow and develop.
I’m a qualified level 3 nursery nurse, first aid trained, DBS checked with over 17 years experience.
My previous nanny job sadly ended after 6 years. I looked after 3 girls aged 7, 9 and 11 years old, Monday to Friday. (When I started they were, 1, 2 and 5 years old)
I currently look after a 7 year old boy and a 4 year old little girl, I’ve been with this family for 3 years.
My current job is sadly coming to an end when the little girl starts school. I am currently looking for full time work with another family to help care for their little ones again. If you’re looking for a nanny, please get in touch.
I am available everyday, and I am available to babysit any evening of the week. I have worked in Newport and Cardiff, I don’t mind travelling for work, contact me if your interested.
I have worked as a sole charge nanny for 11 years and in that time I have worked with 3 individual families. I have built up a very strong bond with the children I have cared for over the years.

I worked in a private nursery for over 6 years, working with babies up to 4 year olds.
My first nanny role was for two children, a 1 year old and a 3 year old, I worked 11 hour days Monday to Thursdays.
My previous role was, 3 children in Newport, they were ages 1, 2 and 5, when I first started I would take the 5 year old to school, then the 2 year old to a private nursery and I would have the 1 year old during the day, where we would go to playgroups, music classes, water babies, soft plays etc. I worked very long hours up to 13 hours a day plus overnights. I prepared meals for the children, took them out on day trips, bathed them, did shopping (food and clothes) for them.
As the children got older my role has changed over 6 years, as they were all currently in school, I would do the school run, collect them from school, do homework with all 3 of them. I prepared an evening meal, bathed them then got them ready for bed for when the parents came home from work.
I currently look after 2 children aged 7 and 4 years old. The 7 year old is in school and I take the 4 year old to lots of different classes during the week. I enjoy my job and love seeing children grow!
I am a hard working individual, who is confident, positive and friendly around children. I always try to adapt to any needs you and your family may have. I’m happy to follow a child’s daily routine, and any other child related duties.

Clara has been our Nanny for 2 years and will (hopefully) continue to be until the children are full time in school. Clara has the most incredible bond with our children. She has been with us since they were aged 4 and 15 months. Emily the baby was terrified of people following the pandemic so it was so important that she was in the care of someone patient and reliable. Clara takes Emily to lots of activities whilst Jasper is in school and does the school runs for both now that Emily has started nursery. Nothing phases Clara, she will happily help in all tasks involving the children, helps with housework (mostly around the children but will also help me generally), cares for them when they are ill, cooks and prepares meals, takes them on days out, helps with schoolwork and even has them overnight in our home for us. I can't recommend Clara enough to anyone!

Clara has been babysitting for my children for well over a year. I have two year old twin boys and a ten year old daughter. Over that time Clara has built up an amazing relationship with them.
Clara is very reliable, always on time, she is very trustworthy and has always looked after my children amazingly. I have always been at ease leaving the children in her care.
I highly recommend her to other parents.

Clara has babysat for my two boys several times and they always look forward to her coming around.
Clara connected with the boys from the start and is reliable, warm and fun. She always makes sure the boys have their beloved bed time story and play a few games together.
My eldest has severe food allergies and I am very careful who I leave him with. Clara understands the seriousness of his condition, has a wealth of training and experience and I always feel that he’s safe in her hands.

Clara is an excellent nanny who I would highly recommend and would definitely use again. She was fantastic with each of our 3 children aged 5, 4 and 9 months who all warmed to her straight away on day one. Clara was with us for 2 weeks during the school closures due to Covid. She took the children to the local park a few times and I trusted her completely with them. She was excellent with our baby also and prepared meals for both our older 2 children and the baby. She would be a wonderful nanny to any family and I would certainly use her again if we ever needed a nanny in the future.
