About Me

I am a registered childminder in Coleshill, I have 3 children who have all now left home my husband and myself are fully DBS checked and I am registered with Ofsted, on my last inspection I received a Good grading.

I live in a semi-detatched house which is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac away from any traffic. I have a fenced garden to the rear which has lots of toys and equipment for the children to enjoy.

I have a Labrador dog, he is very friendly rather large , I do encourage the children to be respectful of the dog whilst he is around them

I have lots of resources and activities which the children enjoy, I encourage the children to be kind and caring and try to deal with unwanted behaviour positively, always engaging with parents or carers when necessary.

We go for walks regulary and visit the local parks, we also visit local play groups but I do charge seperately for these
I have all the correct age car seats and encourage the children to walk sensibly and safely.

I provide meals, snacks and drinks, but ask parents to provide formular milk and any special dietary requirements. I also ask parents to provide nappies, wipes and suitable clothing.

I have experience with all age groups from birth to 13 years as well as my own children, I also have experience with specials needs children of different ages and disabilities, but I do not have wheelchair access I have completed Makaton 1 and 2, but have not used this for a number of years

All my training is up to date and I do endeavor to take training opportunities as and when possible, all my certificates are available to see upon viewing my setting, I operate a digital system for registration holidays diaries nappy charge/sleep times meals etc for parents to be updated on what their child is doing.

I adhere to all the funding criteria for me to be able to deliver the 9 month to 4 funding inclusively

My setting opens at 7.00 am and closes at 6.00 pm, I provide a happy, friendly, loving, safe, and caring environment for all the children in my care and try to cater for all their needs.

I can also offer the 30 hour funding.
