About Me

I currently have a permanent teaching post in an East Renfrewshire primary school, and I offer group tutoring sessions after school and on weekends.

I am a fully qualified teacher with over 14 years experience. I have worked with children across the primary age range (4 years - 11 years).

I can devise a programme tailored to your child's needs and abilities, which will allow him/her to excel and exceed expectations.

I have had a very successful career in education and held various positions: Literacy Coordinator; Teaching and Learning Leader; Assistant Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher of a primary school.

My Experience

Specialise in preparing children for assessments in Reading, Writing and Maths:
- Scottish National Standardised Assessments (SNSAs)
- East Renfrewshire Standardised Assessments
- Independent School Entrance Exams

I have an excellent record of success:
Progress attained by my most recent cohort of students in Reading and Writing placed my school amongst the top 3% of schools in the country

Over 98% of my students have gained entry into their preferred choice of independent schools

My Qualifications

I am a fully qualified teacher and registered with GTC Scotland. I gained my teaching qualification from the University of Strathclyde.
