About Me
I am an experienced post natal doula of over 10 years, married, mother of 2, and live in Sevenoaks, Kent. My two children are now grown up. I have a full and clean driving license, an enhanced DBS Enhanced Certificate and Full Paediatric First Aid certificate. I enjoy pilates, yoga, walking, reading and enjoy arts and theatre. I have 'ticked' Nanny as Post Natal Doula is not there as a category, I am always happy to discuss various roles as I have also started with families when the baby has been a few months old. I trained with British Doulas in London.
My Experience
I have experience of caring for single babies and also for multiple births. I hold various references and these are readily available for your information. Although primarily a post natal doula, the care that I have given can, and, at times has, continued for many months following the birth. I am very flexible and always feel that times and days can be 'tweaked', in advance, if needed.
My Qualifications
I trained with British Doulas having completed a course in London, as a Post Natal Doula. I have many references, and I have a current DBS Enhanced Disclosure. I also hold a full and clean driving license, and an up to date full paediatric first aid course certificate which I feel is vital for my type of work, and, indeed, for everyday life.
My Availability
If you send me a message I will confirm my availability. I can come and let an older child become comfortable with me for a number of sessions before the new baby arrives. You may need a post natal doula for a period of time to help you survive during those difficult early weeks/months, before you go back to work, or before you hire a full time nanny/au pair.
