About Me
My name is Laura and I am a newly registered child-minder in Holton Le Clay. I live with my partner of 11 years Stephen and our daughters Amber 8 and Ellie 5. We have a warm and cosy home which includes pets (all trained, friendly and regularly vet checked) I became a child minder as I have always loved caring for children , my own and other and it really is rewarding watching a child do something for the first time and learning something new. Children in my care will have access to a wide range of activities including, music and song, story time, arts and crafts, discussion time, free play, baking, outdoor games local trips out etc. all activities will be in line with The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.
I am friendly and caring and really enjoy my job.
My Experience
I am presently looking after a 2 years old little girl on Mondays and a 10 month old baby girl on Tuesdays and Fridays. It has taught me so much already.
I have also been a mother myself for 8 years and I think that's the best experience I could have it has taught me to understand children's behaviour and habits and of course it has to me to be more caring, understanding and patience.
My Qualifications
I am registered with Ofsted, I am fully trained in paediatric first aid and the safeguarding of children. I have also completed and food hygiene course to ensure meals served on the premises are at optimum standards. I have completed the Course How to Set up a Child-minding Business and hold a valid DBS Certificate. I also have all relevant policies and procedures in place and I am fully insured.

I am available Mon-Fri 8.00am-6.00pm (negotiable)
Sat 8.00am-1.00pm
I am available for term time and holidays
I am also available on Bank Holidays
