Hi,
I am a very friendly and outgoing person and whilst working, guarantee your child will get 100% attention and love - i enjoy meeting up with other nannies and going to toddler groups, play dates and parks….
Socialising for children is very important, aswell as having ‘one on one’ days, doing arts, crafts, number work etc..
My emphasis is on teaching about life and having fun, but having boundaries too - being ‘firm but fair’.
I am a vegan and believe in healthy eating (with occasional treats of course), and I try and cook meals from scratch.
I am reliable and flexible and have a ‘muck in’ attitude and am very approachable, kind and caring.
Hobbies wise, I enjoy walking my rescue dog and listening to live music (gigs and festivals) .
My Experience
I am NNEB trained and i have 5 children of my own aged 30, 28 and 25 year triplets, aswell as 3 grandchildren. I have been working as a nanny, for all ages, on and off since 1990 and i have also worked as a night nanny. I have been a Homestart volunteer and hold a current first aid certificate and dbs, aswell as fantastic checkable references. I have experience with all ages, special need children, multiples and premature babies. I have done babysitting work aswell for various families.
My Qualifications
I am NNEB trained and have done child protection courses aswell as first aid and i have been a Homestart volunteer. I also have an up to date DBS check. I am currently Ofsted registered (and did well on my local inspection), I also hold an up to date First Aid certificate.
My Availability
I live in Tongham, but have my own car so am willing to travel a reasonable distance. I would rather use the family’s car whilst at work, but am flexible with this. I have been in my current position since April 2023, but am looking for a new part time position from June, due to little one starting school …
I am ideally looking for a 2 day job (full days) with younger children so I can stay for a while, but not full time, so I can devote some time to my dog.
