Hi my names Yvonne. I'm a mum of 3 young boys & an Ofsted registered childminder in the Bromley, West Wickham & Hayes area. I’m offering full or part time childcare for little ones & except all funding.
It is my aim to ensure that every child in my care has a wonderful learning experience whilst feeling safe and secure and having bundles of fun and laughter. Each child will be encouraged to learn through play, giving them the confidence to explore and develop at their own pace.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 7 years now & have a lovely group of children in my setting. Since becoming a mum I have had so much pleasure nurturing my children and watching them develop and grow, that I want to do the same for other children whilst providing a home from home environment.
My Qualifications
I have successfully completed ‘Preparing for Homebased Childcare’ Training Course and regularly update myself on the EYFS by attending or joining online courses. I am trained in Safeguarding & again keep up to date on all areas. I am also fully qualified in Paediatric First Aid.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 5pm and Friday 7:30am - 4pm

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
£7.50 an hour - this covers all meals, snacks, outings, playgroups etc. I also accept funded hours for those who are eligible & tax free childcare payments.

Yvonne took on our daughter when she was 10 months old, and she has really thrived during her time there. She visibly enjoys going to her (and often doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day!) and she’s gained so much developmentally. I have loved getting the whatsapp pictures and seeing her happy and having fun and enjoy coming home and reading her diary entry for the day!
I was naturally nervous about leaving her at 10 months but as soon as we met Yvonne, following several meetings with other childminders, my partner and I instantly felt comfortable and knew that was where we wanted to place our little one. She has created a lovely environment and it's clear to see the children in her care are content and well looked after.
We are so grateful to Yvonne for looking after her. Our time isn’t going to last as long as we planned, due to our circumstances changing, but I have been very happy with everything and would highly recommend Yvonne to anyone in the area looking for a childminder.

I went back to work when my little boy was one, then six weeks later our first childminder told us she was taking another job. It was stressful at the time but I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. It meant we got to meet Yvonne.
Yvonne is an incredible childminder. My son has been enjoying his days with her for almost two years now. We’ve never had a problem at drop-off – he just walks right in and makes himself at home in her lovely home. And at pick-up he loves to tell me about all the fun he’s had with his friends, including Yvonne’s own boys.
We get lots of updates on Whatsapp and in a daily written diary. You can just tell from the photos that the children really enjoy their adventures with Yvonne. She cares a great deal about their development, helping them learn through play, so we’ve decided our son will keep attending her setting until he goes to school.
If you’re looking for a childminder, I highly recommend Yvonne.

Yvonne looked after our little boy, full time from the age of 2, through to 3 and a half. I cannot recommend Yvonne enough. She offers a home from home experience for the little ones and ours settled in with her immediately. She genuinely cares for the children as if they are her own and is always supportive and encouraging too. I love that Yvonne takes the children to groups and activites in the local area and buddies with another childminder to further encourage positive play with other children, in preparation for preschool/school, but also keeping it fun and engaging. Her home is clean and she provides regular written and visual updates. Yvonne's own children are also very friendly, kind and engaging with the smaller children, which my little one loved. I will continue to highly recommend Yvonne, as I cannot thank her enough for the growth and development she has encouraged in my little boy.
