About Me
I am caring, trustworthy, reliable, and confident around children of all ages. I have 2 grown up boys of my own, which is when I volunteered in the nursery that my youngest attended and decided this is the path I wanted to take in my career. I will give my best ability to look after and care for babies, toddlers and children of all ages and care for them as if they were my own. I am able to get along with children and their family. I am passionate about the work I do and compassionate with individual needs.
My Experience
I am confident and capable of caring for babies and children of all ages. I was employed in the same junior school for 10 years and absolutely loved my role as an LSA working with groups of children and on a 1:1 basis. I was a nanny to a family with 3 school age children 2014 to 2019. I am currently working as a nanny and been with the family since August 2019. Caring for 3 children, boy now aged 14, girl now aged 9 and a boy now aged 8, drop off and pick up from school. After school clubs. Preparing their breakfasts and dinners. I have the children throughout school holidays, unless the family are going away on holiday. I encourage the children to do homework. In December 2017 I received my Enhanced DBS certificate. I have a certificate for Common Core Skills and Knowledge Training in childcare 2018. Passed Paediatric First Aid Training in January 2020. I have certificates that I have gained working in the junior school.
My Qualifications
My paediatric first aid training certificate has expired, however, I would be willing to participate and update my training. I have an enhanced DBS certificate. Achieved a qualification for common core skills and knowledge for childcare.
My Availability
As I am currently working, my notice period is 6 weeks.
