I live on the Wick estate in Southchurch with my husband and two daughters aged 18 and 19 years old. I love being a mum and childminder and think children are a precious gift to be nurtured and cherished.
My home has a variety of toys and resources and a large enclosed garden. I am within walking distance of parks, the beach, library and duck pond, and a frequent visitor to all of them!
I am a Forest Childcare Provider which means we spend a lot of time outside enjoying nature.
I provide a caring, supportive and varied environment with children at the centre of everything I do.
My Experience
I registered with Ofsted as a childminder in March 2010.
I am a member of Southend's Childminding Network which is a nationally recognised quality assurance scheme. It means I am monitored regularly by my network co-ordinator to ensure that I am consistently providing high quality childminding services, in line with PACEY's Quality Standards.
My Qualifications
I received a Good judgement from Ofsted.
I have CRB Enhanced clearance and a current paediatric first aid certificate (October 2021).

My Availability
I work Monday to Thursday during term time and Monday to Wednesday during school holidays. I aim to be as flexible as possible with arrangements, so please contact me to discuss your specific requirements.
I do not drop off or collect from schools; pre-schools or nurseries as I feel this negatively impacts on our day.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I do not charge for my holidays, or if the setting is closed due to illness.
As I am Ofsted registered, I can be paid using Tax Credits or Childcare Vouchers.
I will be offering the 30 hour childcare entitlement.
Subject to availability, I am able to offer 15 and 30 hours early education funding for 2 (15 hours only), 3 and 4 year old children.

Camilla helped me out with some emergency childcare for a half term, she went above and beyond for me and made my son feel very welcome. He enjoyed days out as well as the garden and the main childcare room. A lovely childminder in a great homely setting.

Camilla has looked after my two children for nearly 3 years. I have found her to be professional, friendly and an absolute godsend. My children can't wait to see Camilla and usually don't want to leave. She is very flexible and has bent backwards to accommodate our family's needs. Her home is lovely and welcoming with lots of toys and activities for the children to do. They often come home with something they have made which they are very proud of. Camilla's garden is big and the children are allowed in the garden whenever they want so they can get fresh air and exercise. She has lots of play equipment and a shed full of bikes, trikes, ride ons and outdoor games. In the Summer, she gets the swimming pool out and the children love it. Camilla takes them on lots of outings - they go to the woods, beach, parks, fun factory, Marsh farm and Tropical Wings to name a few. My children are well cared for, happy and stimulated. I can't recommend Camilla highly enough.
