Jaye
Nanny in Bury (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
Experienced Nanny | Sen Specialist
About Me
I’m a 27-year-old actor living in Walshaw, Bury. Alongside acting, I have a strong passion for childcare. I previously worked in a primary school in Manchester as a teaching assistant and spent a year in a Special Needs School in London, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I also bring personal insight to my work: as an autistic adult, I have a deep, lived understanding of neurodiversity and special needs. This perspective has shaped my approach to working with children both inside and outside of educational settings, helping me to be more empathetic, patient, and intuitive in supporting their individual needs.
I have a full enhanced DBS and have looked after many different children for the past 10 years, alongside my work as a teaching assistant at the saturday drama school ‘Pauline Quirke Academy’. I am creative, caring and committed to ensuring every child feels understood and supported, and I hope I can demonstrate this by looking after some wonderful young people.
My Experience
I have experience working with children in a saturday drama school where i was a teaching assistant. I have worked 1.1 many times with SEN children in a mainstream primary school; as well as being a Teaching Assistant across KS1 and 2 in the afternoons. I also used to deliver Speech and Language Interventions for SEN children. Furthermore I have over 10 years of babysitting experience working with many different types of children.

Jaye has been a much needed asset to the family. she has a great relationship with our autistic son who struggles with communication skills and friendships.
She is extremely punctual, reliable friendly and trustworthy. She keeps him in his familiar routine and nothing is too much trouble for her.
I would recommend Jaye to anyone.

Jaye came to babysit my children and she was absolutely amazing. As a mum of special needs children it is important for me to have someone who can support them properly and who understands their needs. Jaye was incredible with this and my children loved her. She spent time with them and played games with them. Both of my children have complex needs and Jaye was amazing at adapting her support to their individual needs and with regular updates from Jaye I was able to relax whilst they were in her care.

Jaye is a wonderful person, understanding the children’s needs, whilst she didn’t need to care for my 16 year old she engaged so well with him. He’s usually a bedroom hermit but whilst she was sitting for us he spent time with her and shared his interests which is a big thing for him. Would recommend Jaye to any one.
