About Me

I am an Outstanding rated childminder in South Woodford very close to Churchfields School.

Since I am very enthusiastic with children and can't stop buying toys and books for them - friends say my setting is like the Early Learning Centre .

I have black belt in Tae-Kwon-do. I trained as an aerobic and step teacher when I was very young. We do exercise with children. I love dancing with them.
We love eating healthy food but all fun food which children loves. I always care children's feeling thus I always ask their opinion.

My Experience

I looked after children in different age groups since 1999.I also have my own two children. I volunteered in Reception year and year 1 class in one of the local school.

My Qualifications

I am OFSTED registered and rated outstanding, fully qualified childminder. I have HND and also BA Hon Degree. I also have Redbridge Childcare certificate, Paediatric First Aid certificate, Food Hygiene certificate, level 3 diploma in childcare, safeguarding and other childcare related trainings. I am also network childminder.
I have level 2, 3, 4 and 5 in Counselling skills which help me to understand children better. I work as a school counsellor once a week in a school.
My assistants also have DBS check, first aid training and also food hygiene certificate.

My Availability

We accept 30 hours funding from council.
My assistants and I can collect children from Churchfields nursery, infant and junior school and Woodford pre-school. I have availability for over 9 months olds from April 2026

Melissa has been looking after my daughter for several months and I am very happy with her. She genuinely loves children, and has an excellent work ethic. Kids are well loved, have lots of fun, and look forward to going to her house and on the outings she organises. Great food and a nice balance of learning and play. Thanks Melissa
