About Me

I am a registered nurse, maternity nurse, night nanny and Doula specialising in multiples, twins and triplets. I used to work for TAMBA twinline (Twins and Multiple Birth Association). I am available as a post natal Doula, maternity nurse, night nanny and babysitting.

I have over 25 years experience looking after babies including twins and triplets and babies with special needs. I am a mother of three grown up daughters including twins and now I am a grandmother.

I absolutely love babies and children and taking care of them and they love me, I am very kind, caring and compassionate in my approach with babies, children and their families and I am ‘not in your face’ type of person, I always know when to give parents their space. I have also worked in a nursery as the second in charge and I believe in the Montessori approach with children.

I also 'Mother the Mother', I do not take a hard approach when helping mothers and I am not a fan of Gina Ford or allowing babies ‘to cry it out’ method. I believe that babies need love and security and cuddles.
I encourage and support you as the mother first and foremost and my main aim is to ensure that you become confident and listen to your natural motherly intuition and instinct. I help in establishing a routine for you and your babies and writing things down and my aim is to help you gain confidence as parents. I will cook you meals if necessary when you come home from hospital and I will deal with baby light housework, eg: baby laundry and bottle cleaning etc. I am there to listen to any fears and doubts that you have and support you if you are feeling any post natal blues or finding parenthood daunting in any way.
My nursing experience can help you as the mother if you have had a c- section to ensure you get your rest and prevent wound infection.
