Hello my name is Ellie and I'm 29 years old. I am Level 3 qualified, Ofsted registered, hold a current DBS and am First Aid trained. I have many years experience working with a variety of ages and have used my skills through many different work opportunities. I love to travel and I was able to use my passion to move to Italy to become a Nanny.
My Experience
Over the past few years, I have worked quite a lot with different ages of children all of which I have enjoyed. When I was studying acting, I took part in a project where we toured around Primary schools and performed for all different ages. Linked to this, I also got the opportunity to volunteer in an SEN school which I found very rewarding. I have taken part in Pantomimes for the last 6 consecutive years where I have played lead roles. I worked in a Performing Arts school for 6 months where I taught acting to children aged 3-15, I thoroughly enjoyed this role as I have such a passion for acting. Seven years ago, I worked for a Charity called 'Wide Horizons' and over the summer holidays, I volunteered for a Youth worker position. With this, we took 24 teenagers away to an outdoors centre and worked on team building exercises for them to grow within their confidence and trust. In May 2019, I travelled to America to work as a Lifeguard and be a children's camp counsellor for two months, it was the best experience I could have wished for! As I was older than the other counsellors, I had a senior position and was often in charge of day to day activities. I worked as a Childminding assistant for 3 years which I thoroughly enjoyed. In 2023, I travelled to Sri Lanka to volunteer in a Kindergarten and continued straight to Italy to become a Nanny. After returning home from Italy, I started working for the Houses of Parliament as a Pre - school teacher which I thoroughly loved. I am a regular babysitter and really enjoy spending my time creating and making special memories with the children I care for. I currently hold a Pediatric Emergency First Aid certificate and a current DBS certificate.
