About Me

My child minding business is based from home, a unique listed building in a quiet and secluded yet secure area of Blantyre. I live here with my 2 daughters ages 26 and 24, both of whom adore and like to dote on young children, and our pet dog, Willow.
I am trying to offer as flexible a service as possible, with my standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 6pm. With a minimum contract of 2 hours per session, offering pre/after school care and full and half day sessions.

My Experience

My childcare experience is mainly based around raising my own children, but I do have more formal experience of working with children when I worked as an Education Officer at Glasgow Zoo, as a Countryside Ranger at Pollock Country Park and as a hockey coaching assistant. I now have 7 years of childminding experience and have cared for children from birth to 16 years old. I am also a partner provider for ELC with South Lanarkshire Council.

My Qualifications

BSc in Botany/Zoology/Geology/Marine Science
First aid trained and updated every 2 years
Care inspectorate graded 5 (very good) on all aspects
