Hello.
My name is Lata and I am an OFSTED registered childminder. As an experienced and imaginative Early Years Practitioner, I'm qualified to support your child’s early learning and development from birth to 5 years. I deliver the same Early Years Foundation Stage framework that nurseries do. However, with a small number of similar aged children I'm able to devote more time and attention to their welfare and development and work very closely with you. I live in Romford, off Money road, 8 mins walking distance from the train station.
I offer high quality childcare for 0 - 11 years old children, including both before and afterschool care and drop-off and pick-up to/from school. Your child will be kept safe in a warm, happy, healthy and clean home from home environment as you return to work. I've arranged my home so that children have lots of space to learn and develop. There is a spacious lounge, a separate sitting room for reading and quiet time, a playroom and a kitchen/dining room which opens onto a large and exciting child focussed garden. I understand how much children can learn from being outside and will encourage your child to embrace the freedom of the outdoor space.
I can assure that that I will be as flexible as I can to help and support you.
I live in a 4 bedroom house with a fully enclosed garden where the children can play safely. It is a non-smoking household and there are no animals. I offer a clean, secure and happy environment in which children can learn and grow through play. I take the children on visits to parks, libraries, playgroups and other outdoor activities. Opening times are from early morning to late evening and I am very flexible with days and times. Meals are provided if required. All dietary requirements are catered for.
I have a qualification in childcare and have worked in various nurseries.
My Experience
I am a registered childminder for 8 years . Apart from bringing up my two children, I completed NCFE level-2 course in childcare. I have worked at various nurseries in Slough, Maidenhead and Windsor as a supply nursery assistant over a year and a half. I have also worked in Essex as a supply nursery assistant for over two years. I have worked at my children’s primary schools as a teaching assistant for about three years in total. I am Ofsted registered, CRB checked, insured specially for childminding and trained in Paediatric First Aid and safe guarding..I have worked as a healthcare professional for 4 years. Which enhanced my experience at higher level.
My Qualifications
I have higher degree qualifications such as Bsc Honours degree at Health and Social care. I have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree for primary teaching.

My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday from early morning to late evening and I am very flexible with days and times. I consider weekends upon parents’ request and if arranged in advance.
I am available throughout the year including term time and school holidays.
Vacancies are currently available for Monday to Friday. I do school pick up and drop off from The Mawney Foundation school.

First of all I would like to thank Lata from my bottom of my heart for the care she has taken of my little one. We checked about 10 or so childminders & daycares before we settled to Lata. She's friendly, flexible and always available when we are in need. We moved from Slough recently and my daughter misses Lata so much, which shows the kind of care/attention she has given over a period of 6 months. I would higly recommend Lata to every Parent!
