About Me

Hi, my name is Rachel and I am a registered childminder in Rhiwbina, Cardiff.

I offer a friendly childminding service which will allow children to learn and develop in a safe, secure and fun environment.

I take the children to playgroups, soft play, libraries, local farms and parks. I also have a good sized enclosed rear garden with plenty of play equipment.

I have 3 children. I am able to do the school/nursery drop offs and pick ups at Llanishen Fach Primary School only.

My Experience

I have been a registered childminder with the CIW since 2013.

My Qualifications

I have completed all the relevant childcare courses and am registered with the CIW. I have had yearly first aid training since 2004 until 2010 and then Paediatric First Aid training every 3 years.

I have completed the Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene, Food and Nutrition Skills for Early Years, Health and Safety Awareness, Advanced Behaviour Management, Safeguarding and Prevent courses. I am also registered with the Foods Standard Agency and Information Commissions Office.

I am a member of PACEY.

I intend to continually further my experiences and qualifications by attending courses.

My Availability

Opening hours are Monday-Friday 7.45am-5.30pm

I can drop off and collect from Llanishen Fach Primary School and Nursery.

I currently have part time places available. I also offer emergency/occasional/ad-hoc childcare so please contact me for more information and details.

My Fees

Childminding from £6.00 per hour

Childminding fees:

£6 per hour, with a minimum charge of £48.

School drop offs and pick ups are charged at a min of £7 before school and £13 after.

My rates include all meals/snacks/drinks, outings, toddler groups and soft play.
