Dear Families,
My name is Chiara and I'm looking for a position as nanny/babysitter.
I am a smiling and energetic Italian girl who has been living in the UK from 2014 and working in Edinburgh from June 2015. I graduated in psychology as a mature student in 2021, while working care settings, from nanny jobs to mental health charities.
I love art and I enjoy using creative tools to express myself and connect with others. I define myself as friendly and respectful person, with a positive attitude. I am helping with a can-do attitude.
As a real Italian, I love cooking fresh and tasty food. I love cooking for others as I come from a big family. I am vegetarian and I like cook fresh and tasty food. I am ok to cook meat of required.
Moreover, I believe it is important to help the community. For this reason I always willing to help people and when is possible, I do volunteering jobs, e.g. I supported a group of adults with learning disabilities and after-school club in a disadvantage area of the city.
I have also volunteered for the Emergency Ambulance Service where I obtained some patents such as the First AID, BLSD (Basic life Support-Defibrillation) and PTC (Pre-Hospital Trauma Care).
I enjoy outdoors activities, such as gardening, and I love animals,particularly dogs, as I really miss mine who is in Italy.
My Experience
I have over 7 years of experience as a nanny for different families and two working in nurseries. I looked after kids from few months to 17 years old, including young adults with physical and cognitive challenges as well as ASD and ADHD. My experience shows that I am flexible depending on the need of your child and I can adapt in different settings.
My Qualifications
I am a psychology student interested in child development
My Availability
I am available to work as a nanny/ babysitter part-time, full-time or just in the weekend.
