About Me
My name is Jackie Evans and I am an OFSTED registered childminder. I live with my husband and our 2 daughters aged 18 and 20. At my last inspection I received a strong good. I live centrally to most of the village amenities and of course our beautiful countryside so lots to entertain the children with. I offer a relaxed, safe and caring environment for your child together with a wide range of toys and activities. I pick up from our village Nursery, Infants and Junior schools and offer a home cooked evening meal. I know how important it is for parents to have peace of mind knowing that their child is safe and happy when being looked after. My setting is very much a home from home environment with lots of fun and cuddles when needed so please do ring for a chat.
My Experience
I gained valuable experience of working with children at a local Montesori Nursery. Whilst working at the nursery, I completed the childminding course as I loved working with children and enjoyed seeing how they flourished. I felt that I could offer a stimulating and loving home environment that would allow children to feel secure and happy and develop individually.
Over the years, I have helped out voluntarily at both of my children's schools and of course being a mum helps too!

My Qualifications
I have been CRB checked;
My husband and 2 daughters have been DBS checked;
I hold a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate;
I regularly attend Safeguarding/child protection courses;
I regularly attend various training courses;
I have a full and clean driving licence
