Simply Fabulous

I was really apprehensive going back to work and leaving my little girl with someone outside of the family, but I really shouldn’t have worried as Tasha has been absolutely fantastic from day 1. Tasha always has a smile on her face, where her friendly and welcoming nature is infectious! My little girl always seems to enjoy herself during her days with Tasha, where they regularly go to playgroups, the library and soft play. Tasha has nailed our little girls routine too, so we are always reassured that she’s being well looked after and given her naps/food at the proper times. All communication is clear and prompt, where we love receiving updates from Tasha on how our little girl has been that day. Tasha is really flexible, so when we had to change days a few months in, there were no issues and the transition was seamless. My little girl is obsessed with Tasha’s cavapoo, Cadi, where any/all dogs we come across now are called Cadi in her excitement (baring in mind that we have no pets at home, so it just goes to show how well socialised Cadi is and how well Tasha manages her dog in her setting).
I feel very lucky that our little girl is in such safe hands with Tasha, as the title of the review says, she is simply fabulous 🥰

Brilliant childminder!

We have had a great experience with Tasha! She is really warm and attentive to all of the children in her care. She manages our daughters dietary requirements carefully, which has given us real peace of mind. Communication with Tasha is quick and easy. My daughter really enjoys chatting to Tasha and playing with the other children. Tasha regularly sets up fun activities for the children, such as crafts, and also takes them to the park when the weather is nice. My daughter has made lots of friends in her care. I would really recommend her to families looking to find a warm, reliable and supportive childminder!

Amazing and kind care giver!

My little girl started with Natasha when she was just over 7 months old and stayed for just over 8 months! The kindness and understanding Natasha presented everytime she had my daughter was exceptional and so welcoming! Having this setting made it so much easier to leave my child with Tasha as many can understand the anxiety that comes with returning to work after having a baby!

My daughter went to Tashas once a week and she was so excited everytime we turned up in the morning! Any new change my child had, Tasha had no problems adapting to it and taking it hands on! As soon as I would message asking how my child was I would get an almost instant update and photos which were such a comforting reminder that she was safe and having fun! The family atmosphere in Natasha’s home was so visible and so welcoming I really couldn’t fault it at all!

If I was to ever put my child back in a type of care Natasha would be my first thought.

Wonderful childminder

My little girl started with Tasha when she started reception in Ysgol Treganna age 4, and has been going before and after school (and sometimes in holidays too) for three years. She absolutely loves it at Tasha’s.

When she first went to Tasha’s she was really struggling with the start of school and change of routine. It was during covid and we had tried a different childminder but my daughter just wasn’t settling, getting more and more distressed every day. I explained this to Tasha on the phone and she suggested meeting her first in the park at the end of the day. That way we could meet her and have a chat, my daughter could meet and play with the other children in her care, and I could speak to the other parents too as they picked up. Tasha asked what my daughter was interested in and what healthy snacks she liked so she could buy them. She really went out of her way to make that first meeting as inviting as it could be. She chatted with my daughter about the things she liked and was kind and patient. My daughter warmed to her straight away (and so did I!) I just knew we were in safe hands.

There were still some tears and tantrums at drop off for a little while, understandably, but Tasha is always caring and calm, gentle but firm, and my daughter settled very quickly.

Tasha provides loads of stimulation for the kids, going to the park after school in the summer and having a never ending supply of crafts, which my daughter absolutely loves. She also loves going to Tasha’s some days during the holidays, when she gets to have a whole day of fun at Tasha’s without the interruption of school!

I really cannot recommend Tasha highly enough and feel so incredibly lucky to have found her.

Our daughter is so happy with Tasha

Our daughter has been going to Tasha since she was 9 months old and she has always been so happy with Tasha. They’re very close, and it’s a home from home for our daughter. We love the family environment that she enjoys, with Tasha and her family, and also the other children that Tasha takes care of. Our daughter feels close and happy with everyone.
Aside from her happiness, our daughter is very busy spending lots of time outdoors and also learning with various arts and crafts, Montessori activities, and through nursery rhymes with Tasha. We were very lucky that a space became available with Tasha when another family moved from Cardiff, and we will always recommend her professional but very loving care towards all of the children.

Bendigedig! A wonderful childminder!

Natasha from day one has been understanding and willing to adopt to my daughters situation if needed.
This review may help other parents with CMPA children or children with intolerances / severe reflux or feeding issues in general.

Our daughter started with Tasha at 6 months old. She was due to go into a nursery, but given her mistrust of people from hospitals she needed a constant person for care. She had also recently come off an NG feeding tube at 5 months old and we really struggled to find someone who was willing to work with our daughter (or learn tube feeding if needed later on). Thankfully our child got better with the milk ladder, reflux and severe food aversions (all of which Natasha has aided us with and helped). Natasha has a personal understanding of allergies and I knew our daughter was in safe hands.

Natasha was very understanding of our at home strict “lullaby trust” safe sleep practices. In fact, Natasha (out of her own funds) bought a new cot / mattress for our little infant daughter so it was ready for the first day starting. Natasha was really understanding too of our daughters severe reflux and never complained about the mess, even when Ayla went through at least 4 outfits at care due to reflux / sick.

With now 1.5 years of Natasha’s kind care (twice a week) my daughter has grown emotionally and intellectually, she’s made bonds with other children and she displays kindness to other children. I put my child’s social kindness down to Natasha modelling calmness and mediating problems with a gentle nature. I.e rather than use harsh discipline, I’ve seen how Natasha will crouch down at a child’s level and use gentle parenting techniques to help a child learn “why” something shouldn’t be done (rather than being told off not to). The children listen, learn and know boundaries without fear tactics. Natasha’s calm approach has helped us nearly end the tantrum stage early as her approach mimics ours at home.

My little girl (2 years, 3 weeks old) always tells me how much fun she had with Natasha, from the toys she’s played with and even can’t wait to ruffle through her bag when home to proudly show me crafts she’s made with Tasha.
Her speach is quite advanced, and as Natasha engages and talks with children (rather than talking just to them) I’m sure she’s helped boost my daughter learning as well as the other children.

Overall, if you can have Natasha as a childminder for your family then the suns is shining and smiling on you!
She’s a wonderful person and my daughter truly adores and trusts her.

Such a lovely family setting

Our son is two and a half and has been going to Natasha since he was 9 months old. He settled really quickly and easily and has always been so happy there. He gets very excited to see Tasha and always loves his days there, coming home talking about the fun he has had. Natasha is great at taking the kids to lots of playgroups, activities and trips to the park.
It's lovely knowing that our son is somewhere he feels so happy and secure. Tasha is very professional, and has a lovely family settling with lots of toys and activities for the children.

So glad we found her!

Our daughter has been with Tasha since she was 10 months old, she is now 2. I was so happy when I found Tasha as I was worried and nervous about leaving my 10 month old baby to go back to work. Tasha put us both at ease and was so welcoming. Our daughter loves being at Tasha’s house as she gets so much love and attention.

Our daughter often comes home with fun arts and crafts, and I also found that her language skills have improved since being with Tasha, she is slowly becoming bilingual.

I highly recommend Tasha as a childminder, she is caring, kind and nurturing. She has a calm nature and is excellent at setting boundaries and encourages kindness and respect from all the children.

We couldn't be any happier

Our 3 year old son has been with Tash 2-3 days a week for over a year now and he absolutely loves it! He is always really excited to go each morning and he comes back full of stories about all the fun activities and places he has been.

Tash is extremely professional and organised with very clear communication. She is also really helpful, flexible and supportive. It is great to know that our son is in such caring and capable hands and we really couldn't be any happier.

Very lucky to have found her

Our daughter has been going four days a week to Natasha’s since she was 10 months and is now nearly two. Natasha is such a great all round childminder, very professional but fun and easygoing in equal measure. The home environment is ideal and our daughter has made a number of friends in the group that she provides wrap around care to, as well as with her daughters who are also a delight.

She has been great with us as parents too, making us feel at ease with her warm nature, understanding and patience - its always lovely to stop and chat with her. We also feel very lucky to have found her and really couldn’t ask for anything more in a childminder.
