Hi….My name is Jay, I`m 40 and currently a full time Mum to two girls. 3 and 14. I have previously worked in private Nursery for a year and a Primary School for over 8 years. I have gained a level 2 NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning. I have previous Nanny experience looking after a one year boy for a family in Cardiff. I am ideally looking for part time 1/2 days a week but I can be flexible with days/times. I previously started a Childminding course but could not practise in my previous rental property. I have a full driving license so pick-ups and drop offs would not be an issue.
My Experience
Working as a qualified Teaching Assistant, supporting ages ranging from 3/4 year olds to 9/10 year olds. I have also been a one to one with a special needs child. As a mother, I feel the experience gained being a parent is invaluable for aiding me in providing a nurturing environment.
My Qualifications
Level 2 NVQ in Supporting Teaching and learning in Schools
Handling people with special needs education certificate
Child protection awareness certificate
Childminding course (not completed due to rental)
