Hi my name is Susanna and i have been running a very successful childcare business from my home for the last 11 years. I provide a professional, reliable, safe, and nurturing environment for babies and young children to grow and flourish.
Many children in my care start when they are babies and leave confident and ready to start pre-school between 3-4.
I help care for these children through some of their most pecious milestone and have contact with many children and thier families long after they have left my setting.
I am a helping hand for working parents who require an professional affordable, flexible, childcare service for their children.
My home has a dedicated room set up to stimulate and encourage development for children in my care as well as large garden for children to access and explore .
I regularly attend my local children centre as well as local libraries for singing, story time and messy play sessions.
I provide 3 home cooked meals a day along with 2 snacks. or if parents prefer they are welcomed to send children with food from home.
LOCATION

I am located just of Five ways within a 5 min walk to New Eltham Station and 1 minute walk to
Southwood road bus stop.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
I have over eight years experience of working with children. My previous work experience include working in Private and Commercial childcare settings.
I hold a level 3 in Childcare and development, professionally qualifying me to work in early years setting.
I hold a paediatric 1st aid qualification which i refresh every 3 year.
I have also attended courses on safe guarding and baby brain development .
In 2019 my Ofsted inspection graded my setting as GOOD.

Susan is a friendly, welcoming and nurturing lady. She has a warm and inviting home and makes the children in her care feel part of her family.
She looked after my little boy from 11 months old until he was 3 years old when he was ready to start nursery due to all Susan’s care and support.
I would definitely recommend Susan if you want your children to have fun, feel safe and you can be assured they are looked after.

Susan is an excellent childminder, she has been childminding my daughter for over a year now and my daughter is always very happy when it’s time to drop her off.
Susan has a separate play room in her house which is always tidy and clean and she has a massive garden which my daughter enjoys playing in. My daughter can have her usual day nap in Susan’s house and she has 3 proper meals during day, which is really important and game changer for me. When I pick my daughter she has already had her dinner and ready for some nice cuddles and good night bath.
My daughter is almost 2 year old now. she’s so much aware of what is going on around and talks a lot and express herself very well. Susan is always reminding on manners which I think is just priceless and my daughter is always well behaved both at home and in Susan's care. In the last 12 months my daughter has become a very confident and funny, chatty little girl, I truly believe that Susan's influence has assisted in this development.
Susan is always very accommodating and has been flexible so far, I don’t know what else a working mom would like to have for her children’s childcare. Everything is truly 5 stars.

Susan looked after my 1yr old for 3 months and did a fantastic job. My son absolutely loved his time with Susan. He would practically leap out of our arms in the mornings when we dropped him off.
It was such a comfort being able to leave him with Susan, knowing he would be happy and well looked after.
We were very sorry to have to leave! If our circumstances were to change, I would definitely like my son to go back to Caterpillar Day Care!
